Detectives Charge Man With Capital Felony Lewd or Lascivious Molestation

Cape Coral, FL – Detectives with the Cape Coral Police Department’s Special Victims Unit have charged Luis Andres De Los Santos (DOB 11/03/1981) with two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation for offenses involving victims under the age of twelve.

The investigation began on April 1, 2026 when the Cape Coral Police Department received a report regarding possible sexual offenses against a child. Special Victims Unit detectives immediately assumed the investigation, conducted multiple interviews, and gathered physical and digital evidence related to the allegations. Detectives uncovered that there were two victims, both known De Los Santos.

Based on the evidence obtained, detectives authored a warrant for De Los Santos, which was reviewed and approved by the State Attorney’s Office for the 20th Judicial Circuit. De Los Santos was taken into custody by the is  Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, Fort Myers Office and transported to the Lee County Jail, where he is being held on the following charges:

–2 counts, Lewd or Lascivious Molestation, F.S.S. 800.04(5)(b)(1), Life Felony.
