
Cape Coral, Fla. – On May 26, 2026, Cape Coral Police arrested James Leslie Graham, 89, following an illegal gambling investigation involving a business at 111 Del Prado Blvd. N., Unit 10. Graham was transported to the Lee County Jail.
The investigation began in June 2025 after the Cape Coral Police Department received a complaint from the Florida Gaming Control Commission regarding possible illegal gambling activities involving slot machines at a business located at 111 Del Prado Boulevard North, Unit 10.
On August 22, 2025, Cape Coral Police detectives, in conjunction with the Florida Gaming Control Commission, executed a search warrant at the business. During the search, officers seized 96 illegal gambling machines, U.S. currency from the machines and ATM, and business documents and financial records related to the gambling operation.
During the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Graham maintained involvement and control over the gambling operation and laundered proceeds derived from the illegal enterprise.
The case was forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office, which approved an arrest warrant for Graham. On 5/26/2026, Graham was arrested by Cape Coral Police Officer and transported to the Lee County Jail on the following charges:
- 1 count of F.S.S. 895.03(1), RICO – Use or Investment of Proceeds from a Pattern of Racketeering Activity, first-degree felony.
- 1 count of F.S.S. 896.101(5)(c), Money Laundering over $100,000, first-degree felony.
- 1 count of F.S.S. 849.01, Maintaining a Gambling Establishment, second-degree misdemeanor.
- 1 count of F.S.S. 849.15(1)(a), Owning, Storing, Keeping, Possession of, Permitting the Operation of, and Leasing a Slot Machine, second-degree misdemeanor.
