CAPE CORAL, Fla.—As part of our ongoing efforts to combat illegal gaming operations, the Cape Coral Police Department, in partnership with the Florida Gaming Control Commission (FGC), executed two search warrants on the evening of October 8, 2025. The warrants were served at 808 SE 47th Street and 3571 Del Prado Boulevard North.
During the operation, officers seized a total of 139 illegal Vegas-style slot machines and $176,833 in cash from the two locations.
We want it to be clear: owning and operating these casinos is illegal. The investigation remains active and ongoing, and charges are expected as evidence is reviewed and processed.
The City of Cape Coral has a zero-tolerance policy for these illegal casinos; if they continue to operate, they will be subject to imminent criminal investigation and prosecution.
