(August 8, 2024) – On August 7, 2024, the Cape Coral Police Department SWAT Team executed a search warrant at the home of Alan David Colon (DOB 08/05/1979) in relation to a Sexual Battery investigation.
On July 16, 2024, a Detective with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Cape Coral Police Department to report a sex offense that occurred at a residence in Southwest Cape Coral, Florida.
A minor victim reported being sexually battered by Colon on multiple occasions. Colon was located out of state and taken into custody.
During the execution of the search warrant, members of the SWAT Team retrieved items described by the victim that were pertinent to the investigation.
Mr. Colon was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Taskforce in Puerto Rico and charged with the following:
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 794.011 – Sexual battery
