(June 26, 2024) — On June 25, 2024, members of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force (FCRFTF), Fort Myers Office began an investigation to locate and arrest James Tabor (DOB 05/20/1977). Tabor had a felony warrant authored by Detectives at the Cape Coral Police Department and approved by the State Attorney\’s Office. The warrant was for Lewd and Lascivious Molestation. Tabor sexually battered a 7-year-old child.On June 26, 2024 at approximately 7 AM, James Tabor was identified outside of his residence by FCRFTF members and was taken into custody.
He was taken to the Lee County Jail on the warrant based on the following charge:
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 800.04(5)(b), Lewd or Lascivious Molestation
