(May 30, 2024) — On May 29th, 2024, four people were arrested on multiple drug charges after a thorough investigation by the Cape Coral Police Department’s Narcotics Unit.
Detectives were investigating a home at 1343 SE 16th Place because of numerous complaints about drug activity from nearby businesses, including a daycare. The complaints stated that people living at the home were throwing paraphernalia, including needles, in the daycare dumpster across the street.
The Narcotics Unit obtained a search warrant for the residence and four people were arrested.
Russell Hanzevack (DOB 9/15/88) is charged with the following:

Amanda Devitt (DOB 11/11/88) is charged with the following:
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 983.135(1f1), Trafficking in Methamphetamine
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 893.13(6a), Possession of Suboxone
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 893.13(6a), Possession of Oxycodone
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 893.13(6a), Possession of Alprazolam
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 893.13(6a), Possession of Cocaine
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 893.147(1), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
–1 count in violation of FS.S. 499.03(1), Possession of Harmful Drug without a Prescription
Peter Rogers (DOB 1/21/77) is charged with the following:
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 893.13(6a), Possession of Fentanyl
–1 count in violation of F.S.S. 893.147(1), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Tamara Paul (DOB 9/11/91) is charged with the following:
