(July 16, 2025) — The Cape Coral Police Department conducted a special traffic operation on July 15, 2025. Our Special Operations Bureau conducted this detail as part of Florida Highway Patrol’s ‘Operation Southern Slow Down.’ This high visibility enforcement operation specifically targeted speeding & aggressive driving. This operation was conducted citywide and resulted in 202 total citations.
