The Professional Standards Bureau handles recruitment, hiring and testing, training, internal affairs, accreditation, and payroll for the Department. Every employee, including Professional and Sworn Staff, is processed by the Bureau’s Personnel Unit. The Bureau’s Training Unit administers all internal and external training. Every proof, review, assessment, and inspection related to accreditation is managed by the Bureau’s Accreditation Office. Every policy, procedure, and document for the Department is validated and administered by this Bureau.
Captain Julie Green
Captain Julie Green is the Captain of the Professional Standards Bureau. She has been with the Cape Coral Police Department since 2001. She has served as a Field Training Officer on Patrol, a Professional Standards Detective, an Economic Crimes Detective, and a Vice, Investigation, and Narcotics Detective. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Gulf Coast University.
