CCPD Detectives Arrest Convicted Felon on Drug Trafficking and Weapons Charges

The Cape Coral Police Department Narcotics Unit has been conducting an investigation and gathered evidence supporting outstanding trafficking charges against Johnny Glover (DOB 9/21/1989) from previous narcotics transactions.

The CCPD Narcotics Unit conducted a buy-bust operation involving Johnny Glover, which was scheduled to occur on June 24, 2026, in the parking lot of the Circle K located at 819 SE 26th Street, Cape Coral, Florida.

Glover arrived at the location in a rideshare vehicle and was taken into custody without incident as he approached the meeting location. At the time of his arrest, Glover was a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, a pink taser, fentanyl, cocaine, and additional illegal narcotics contained in a backpack.

Detectives also connected Glover to prior drug transactions with Alex Saff (DOB 4/10/2002), who is currently in custody on unrelated charges. Saff was served with charges related to the investigation.

The investigation determined that Glover knew it was illegal for him to possess a firearm or taser. He was taken to the Lee County Jail on the following charges, to include trafficking in methamphetamine from a prior investigation:

  • 3 Counts, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell (F.S.S. 893.13 (1a1))
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (F.S.S. 893.13 (6a))
