
The Cape Coral Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit has arrested two juvenile males, Cecil G. Truman III (DOB: 04/24/2009) and Levi McDonough (DOB: 08/28/2009), in connection with major incidents of vandalism at city park properties.
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, at approximately 5:00 PM, officers responded to the Cape Coral Sports Complex, located at 1410 Sports Boulevard, Cape Coral, regarding criminal mischief. Extensive graffiti in blue spray paint was discovered on a portable storage unit, a trash can, multiple areas of the parking lot, and cement blocks at the baseball fields. The estimated cost for cleanup and repair for this property damage was calculated at $1,342.60.
On Monday, July 21, 2025, at 8:41 AM, officers responded to the Storm Football Complex at 2602 Chiquita Boulevard South, Cape Coral, after similar graffiti was found inside the men’s restroom and around the facility. These markings included vulgar language, a smiley face with X’s for eyes, and the word “Salt.” The total damages for the Storm Football Complex were documented at $2,248.86.
During the investigation, police located blue spray paint cans and other related evidence. A forensic examination of a cellphone associated with the case revealed photographs taken by the offenders, in which Cecil G. Truman III and Levi McDonough were seen posing in front of the graffiti they created at both park locations. The investigation confirmed the use of the nicknames “Salt” for Cecil and “JD” for Levi, further substantiating their involvement.
Both Cecil G. Truman III (DOB: 04/24/2009) and Levi McDonough (DOB: 08/28/2009) were placed under arrest and taken to the Lee County Jail for the following charge: –Criminal Mischief $1,000 or Greater, pursuant to F.S.S. 806.13(1)(b)(3), a third-degree felony
