Traffic Stop for a speed violation (60/40). Investigation revealed that Guarnizo Sierra did not have a driver’s license. UTCR issued.
****The operation was paid for with FDOT sub-grant funding. Cape Coral currently ranks 7th out of 37 agencies in Impaired Driving for traffic fatalities and serious injuries on the Highway Safety Matrix – Ranking of Florida. To improve traffic safety in the City, the Department has partnered with FDOT’s Traffic Safety Office to bring additional enforcement and education through the implementation of saturation patrols.
